Squadron patches have always recorded what crews actually did, including the missions nobody talked about afterwards. Real units flying classified aircraft wore emblems for programmes that officially didn't exist. Some of those patches only surfaced decades later, cryptic, half-explained, traded between collectors who could only guess at the missions behind them. This collection borrows that tradition and hands it to the phenomenon: squadron-style emblems for the outfits that should have existed, sized like actual patches instead of oversized prints, weathered like they came off a flight jacket that saw some things.

Sky Rangers is dated 1947 for a reason. That June, Kenneth Arnold watched nine objects pass Mount Rainier and told reporters they moved like saucers skipping across water. The press turned that into "flying saucers" and the modern era began, whether anyone was ready or not. Radar Command is for the scope operators, the ones who tracked unknown returns over Washington D.C. across two July weekends in 1952, listened to the temperature inversion explanation afterwards, and kept their opinions to themselves. Orbital Machine Works is the shop that would have built these craft if they were ours. Witnesses keep telling us it wasn't: no rivets, no seams, no visible propulsion, nothing that ever saw an assembly line. Celestial Oil sells the fuel these things have apparently never needed. Cosmic Motor Company runs a vintage year of 1967, when Shag Harbour took an object into Nova Scotia waters and the missiles at Malmstrom went dark while something hovered overhead. Black Sky Research, Classified Division, is the programme the whole disclosure fight keeps circling without ever quite touching. Area 51 Flight Club, est. unknown, because the government didn't admit the place existed until 2013.

The rule here is the same one that runs through the whole catalogue. The institutions are invented. Nothing else is. Every date checks out, every case is real, and if you know the files, you'll catch every reference. Apparel for the Already Convinced.
